President Aref Assaf to appear on the one-hour TV talk show program, Talk It Out. April 26, 2007. See press release below

 On April 26th, Talk It Out’s episode will be on :  “The Profiling of Arabs by American Media: Is It a Myth?”

Our guests on the show will be the President of the Arab American Forum in the United States (aafusa.org) Dr. Aref Assaf and Owner/Editor in Chief of the Arab-American widely distributed Aramica Newspaper, Mr. Antoine Faysal.

 Our phone lines will be open for viewers to call with questions/comments at 201-518-0181. On the show, we will also be showcasing the Reel Bad Arabs Movie by Dr. Jack G. Shaheen and the CBC sitcom “Little Mosque on The Prairie”.

Dandana TV is the first Arab-American television network to broadcast from the United States. It currently reaches thousands of Arabs through the Dish Network Satellite in the US and Rogers Cable in Canada. While Dandana TV’s programming is mostly entertainment, we have launched new lineups of talk shows to fulfill our role as ambassadors to the Arab-American community.  

Talk It Out! is a live talk show which broadcasts from our studio in New Jersey every Thursday at 8 pm EST. Talk It Out! discusses subjects that are of social relevance to the Arabic community in North America. In the past episodes, we have discussed a wide array of subjects such as:

- International Parental Abduction                                                                                                          

- People Gossip: How Sensitive is your Ear?

- Plastic Surgery: Boosting our Self Esteem or Losing our Cultural Identity?
