AHC Celebration at the Governor's
Mansion.
Annual Report submitted to Governor Jon Corzine
About 200 Arab Americans and friends joined members of the NJ
Arab American Heritage Commission in a very special celebration
held on July 20, 2009 at the Governor's Mansion in Princeton,
NJ. At the invitation of Governor Jon Corzine, the invitees were
treated to a sampling of Arab food, and desserts. They all came
to witness the submission of the first Annual Report of the
recently created Arab Heritage Commission. Chairman
Hany Mawla presented to the Governor a hard copy of the
Commission's report, highlighting its objective and
achievements. The Governor was impressed by the work done thus
far and promised his continued support of the Commission's work.
